4.Συμπέρασμα
Η διάγνωση της ανεπάρκειας της αυξητικής ορμόνης πρέπει να βασίζεται σε άρτια μεθοδολογία και κλινική εμπειρία. Τα διαγνωστικά πρωτόκολλα θα χρειαστεί να βελτιωθούν ακόμα περισσότερο ώστε να υπάρχει ομοιογενής προσέγγιση και να αποφεύγονται άσκοπες διαγνωστικές ή θεραπευτικές παρεμβάσεις. Η θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση πρέπει να εξατομικεύεται και ο ασθενής να παρακολουθείται προσεκτικά ώστε να εξασφαλίζονται όσο το δυνατό καλύτερα αποτελέσματα. Τα μοντέλα πρόβλεψης είναι ένα εργαλείο που θα βοηθήσει προς αυτή την κατεύθυνση. Η συμμετοχή σε διεθνή πολυκεντρικά πρωτόκολλα επίσης συμβάλλει στην αναγνώριση των παραγόντων που επηρεάζουν την αποτελεσματικότητα της θεραπείας. Η επίτευξη φυσιολογικού αναστήματος κατά την ολοκλήρωση της εφηβείας χωρίς ανεπιθύμητες ενέργειες είναι το ζητούμενο των ασθενών και της ιατρικής κοινότητας.
